Slow Hand has a constantly rotating selection of small batch beers. While they don't wish to restrict their creativity by declaring that they only brew this or that style of beer, their beers tend to be on the lighter, crisper, sessionable side of things. Expect a variety of beer styles from all over the world, some brewed to style, and some with creative twists.

Galaxy Pilsner l 5%

Pilsner with Galaxy
The same malt bill as their classic Pilsner, but swapping the Sterlings and Centennials for juicy New Zealand Galaxy hops. Bursting with tangerine, peach and passionfruit, this is unlike any other Pilsner in the market.

Munich Helles l 5%

Bavarian Golden Lager
The pinnacle of the brewmaster’s art this style his revered not for its extremity and adventurousness, rather for its balance, nuance and restraint. It is a challenging style to perfect as the harmony between malt and hops must be perfectly balanced and leaves no room for error. Litre after litre, this beer toes the line between bland and truly sublime, and as you might guess, this is totally fantastic.

Pilsner l 5.2%

Pilsner
A classic Pilsner. West-Coast inspired take on a German style Pils, blonde and dry, firm malt with pronounced hoppiness. They use Centennials for their floral and orange blossom and Sterlings for their spicy noble-hops-and-citrus qualities, making this a true beer lover’s Pilsner.

Vienna Lager l 5%

Amber Lager
These Amber lagers were popular all over Europe in the 19th Century, but fell into obscurity when lighter lagers came to the fore. A legacy style to be sure, but we still like ‘em and wanted to make one for ourselves! Our golden-to-copper-coloured version is brewed using 100% imported malts; Vienna for honey, almond and hazelnut flavours and aromas and Pilsner to lift the body and keep structure. Hopped with Styrian Celeia for an earthy, resinous complement to the malt. Classic Slow Hand, it’s a beer with depth while still being clean and light.

Pale Ale l 5%

Dry-Hopped Pale Ale
Pale malt lays the foundation for Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo hops to do their thang. Lots of citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavours, kept in check by the malt. Juicy like a hazy beer, but without the added heft and pulp. This beer is all dry-hopping meaning that its theoretical IBU is 0, but its perceived bitterness would be closer to 40.
