Banished Tough Love 2018
The sixth vintage of an annual favourite, this year’s Tough Love remains true to form – bold, yet wonderfully nuanced – with its own unique personality. After being banished to Kentucky Bourbon barrels under controlled conditions for nearly a year, rich overtones of dark roasted malt, oak-smoked wheat, and malted rye give way to delicate notes of velvety chocolate, vanilla, and dried cherries.

ABOUT THE BREWERY:
Crux Fermentation Project— housed in a former AAMCO Transmission Plant and inspired by their location right in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Their brewery is a one-of-a-kind, built for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation and barrel aging, and for leveraging the limitless possibilities that wild yeast strains and experimental hops present.
